Why is spring the best season to visit Petra?

When I started to plan my trip to Petra, I didn’t know which season is the best to visit, and then I had some unexpected days off, and I decided to buy the tickets and go. I got lucky.

March to May are dry months in this desert climate, so its an amazing time to visit. 26°C during the daytime compared to 36 during summer.

I enjoyed long walks, and I managed to see all the important sites:

  • The Siq
  • Treasure
  • Street of Facades
  • Nabatean Theatre
  • Royal Tombs
  • Byzantine Church
  • The GreatTemple
  • Monastery
  • Desert View
  • Wadi Musa

I will leave some pictures here so you can see how amazing it is to visit Petra in April!
